Distinctions in Fannie Mae REO Escrows - for use with the seller's addendum

This document was provided as a courtesy from Lawyer's Title and will provide you and your buyer a generalization of the changes that the Seller's Addendum makes to the AZ state contract. The Fannie Mae Real Estate Purchase Addendum is included in the instructions for writing an offer. ***From the Fannie Mae: "Due to the complexity of the addendum, it is vital that the buyer reviews and signs it prior to your offer submission. Encourage the buyer to seek legal advice for explanation of the terms and conditions included in the Addendum in order to avoid misunderstandings or surprises at closing. As the agent, you must also familiarize yourself with the Addendum terms, and the role you play to ensure compliance with all contract terms. "
